Well with Summer almost over what have been the best films you've seen this Summer? Mine would probably be:
    1)Pirates of the Caribbean
    2)X-Men 2
    3)Phone Booth

TBH I was dissapointed byt most of the others like the Hulk and Matrix.

    1) X-Men2 ...wasn't expecting much after the first one, but it turned out to be highly enjoyable.

    2) The Hulk ...I really think they did a good job here.

    3) Pirates of the Caribbean ...maybe only because it's so fresh in the memory, but very good show all the same.

    1) Igby Goes Down...... i really loved that movie.

    2) X-Men II... for exactly the same reasons as above

Pirates, 25th hour, reloaded ( not perfect, but I wasn't disappointed)

I'm hoping that changes after I see Bad Boys 2 though ;)

The best dumb blockbuster for me was Pirates of the Caribbean. Far better than the other disappointments such as Matrix Reloaded. Terminator 3 was hot on it's heels though.

Have to see more arty farty films. I'm sure there was far better films in the IFC than PotC.

The best has still to come:

"Freddy vs. Jason" at cinema in Dublin from the 22nd of August :-)

    So far its
    1. 25th Hour
    2. X-Men 2
    3. Veronica Guerin

But I expect Pirates to drop Veronica off the list. Seeing this tomorrow.

    Gandalf.

Saw SWAT last night and it was easily my favourite film of the summer. Beats Pirates, T3, X2 and so on.

X-2 was hardly a summer movie was it? I thought it was out in April (could be wrong - memory has gone terrible lately)

Anyway - Pirates of the Caribbean was great.

After that - I enjoyed the Hulk

    X-2 was great too.

Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
Igby Goes Down (even if the States got it last year!)

Other worthies: Whale Rider, Good bye Lenin!, and Dark Waters (which was a nice change of pace).
