    Hey Guys,

Is there any way you can set up the Sharp GX10i to access WAP by "not" using GPRS???.

    Cheers.

Menu -> Settings -> Internet Settings -> WAP Settings -> Vodafone Live! -> Edit -> Connection Type -> CSD

    Cheers thanks for the help.

I think I was being charged a fortune for GPRS on my last bill.

    Many thanks.

darth, I don't really know anything about actually data charges but I think when using GPRS, you're billed per Kb, regardless of the amount of time spent attached to the service. Whereas with CSD, you're effectively making a phone call which is charged per second/minute. I don't know if using CSD will be any cheaper for you, it may even turn out dearer! I'm pretty sure that that's how it works, can anyone provide some info?

    Cheers,

What is happening to me is this.

Im on Talk and Text Plus with Vodafone, and I get 100mins inclusive every month, so even if I dont use all 100mins I get charged 50euro,ok?
So if I use GPRS there is an extra charge on my bill, tends to be an extra 10euro.
But if I use CDS its part of my inclusive mins, so once I dont go over 100mins a month, my bill should still be 50euro.

How does that sound to you??

    Let me know

    Cheers
