Hard rock and blues singer wanted

Is there anybody out there who loves the sounds of Led Zeppelin ,Free ,Cream ,Hendrix ,The Faces etc..... and a lot of blues music ?.We are a Dublin based band who have been looking for a singer for a few months but to no avail ,we have a number of songs written and many more in the making.
I'm 26 ,playing guitar 15 years ,fair bit of experience under the belt.Drummer 29 , LOUD!.Bass player 22 ,seriously grooving.
We need a singer who loves blues ,has plenty of fire both on stage and vocally and who's not afraid to scream and wail ! The influences should say a lot.We're pretty serious about this ,but the main objective is to play gigs ,gigs and more gigs and to have a ball.

Can anyone out there help us ?

Sadly in Brussels for next year, but otherwise love to go in. Lived next door to a bass player who used to play with (amongst others) Mary Stokes. Huge fan of the Irish blues scene (inc. Blues Club).

I am a writer, some band experience. Influence are: Rush, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Faith No More, Sensational Alex Harvey band, Loads of blues, Beatles....pretty varied, including some heavy metal

Hedgetrimmer...you sound like what we are looking for-pity about the location but we will see what things are like next summer.
You never know...

Ed-there is nothing wrong with absolute beginners for vocalists I think if you possess the raw talent already.
Ideally a voice like Paul Rodgers from Free would be lovely but there are not many around like him!
How old are you,where are you based and what kind of stuff are you listening too?

Cool so. I'll subscribe to this and hopefully be in touch when I get back. Also like some "nu metal" coming out, and I (dream) aspise to be able to sing stuff like Jack Lukeman one of these days.

FYI, when i get back home, I am also going to get my voice re-trained in DIT (they do a course, grades and all, only a few hrs a week)

I am by no means a great singer nor do i have frontman looks (unless the band is GWAR) but I am dying to get back jammin' ; I can sing in key no probs tho and would be willing to sub for you till you get someone else(I'm normally a guitar player but no-one seems to want one of those any more!). I've jammed around as a vocalist but only with mates - I'm well familiar with Rush, Zep etc. Have transport etc. and could play some rhythm if required.
Just don't expect Glenn Hughes! F8ck it you never know it might just work out and if not well it'll be a laugh. My guitar gear is in storage for anotjher week or so but should be out soon(have a nice PRS).
If not, no worries - Ed Hunter, if you are still looking for a band give me a shout, I have a more recent post thread in which I'm looking to throw some kind of band together.
