Has anyone got any tat's removed?

    Are there different ways??

    Laser treatment?
    Plastic surgery??

    Just out of curiosity

My brother in law got all his removed surgically when he converted to Judaism(apparently they are not allowed to have tattoos--he also got the old foreskin snipped but thats a different thread and forum)

Basically they remove the top 2 layers of skin off with like a big scraper--something like half an inch deep.

The scars are horrendous (and so are the tattoo removal ones by the way :):):) )

But hes now a catholic again so it was bit of a waste of time and money.

The skin grafts just look so fake.Me wonders did they get the skin from elsewhere;) ;) .

The Skin for skin grafts comes off the ass and the hamstring area. Where the graft is taken from is very very sore.

My sister had hers Lasered off last year. Very long process, sore, and quite expensive so she says.

If your getting a tattoo certainly think twice before doing it, its not as easy as people think to remove em. I have mine about 2 and a half years, and have no desire to remove it.

I believe they charge something like 400-500 euro for every square inch they remove, and it sometimes takes about 3 vistits or more to remove it correctly. Would cost me a fortune to remove mine, a about 3 and a half inches by 2 inches. ( a black chinese dragon).

I agree - think LONG & Hard before getting inked.....

Do NOT get silly ****in tattoos like panthers or Irish flags or whatever the **** cos you think it's cool at the time....

Tattoos should be PERSONAL, & mean something - they're an expensive decoration in the first place & an even MORE expensive one to have removed & the scarring isn't worth it.

If you have a tattoo you don't like - one option is getting a 'cover-up' done, which is expensive & will be BIGGER than the original tattoo to make sure it IS covered......

    ** class dismissed **
