Airbrushing isn't that hard to spot. A real giveaway is when they lengthen the body to make the model look slimmer.

If you stand up straight and let your arms hang, your fingertips should land in the region of your mid-thigh.

If you see a pic of a skinny model with her hands up to her face, try measuring the length her arms would be if they were extended. Chances are in the airbrushed pic they'd only come to her hips...

(A prime example would be Brittany Spears recent shoot for Elle magazine...)

In the interests of science I have attempted to airbrush my ugly drunken visage into something a little more acceptable.



The hardest part was taking the fat off my jawline, but the rest is remarkably easy. Just a matter of blur, and smudge tbh. Oh and whitening the teeth and eyes. It does sort of make me look like I've recently ingested some marching powder instead of being pissed though. Which is odd.
