    Apparently this is a Jainist mantra, so it isnt' Buddhist. According to http://www.bhaktisangeet.com/bhajan/jain/jain_mantra.html, it is "A Mantra for daily use that is widely effective", which isn't very informative. It would be safe however to note that the central Buddhist message would not be "chant and be happy", though.

    I didn't look the meaning of this up in my Sanskrit dictionary. Where do you know it from, Thaed, and what would you like to say about it?
