    Thats only the uk rights. The rights for the republic still have to be announced.

    But the packages they bought cover both in terms of the top matches.

    RTE and TV3 may buy up to get the 2nd rate matches.

    Bastards both of them imo , 250,000 people watched Bohs other night more than any of their crappy Match of the Day shows ever got.

    Uk Rights only. The eire right are a seperate issue this year due to the european commission directive. They are still to be announced.

    hahaha bohs, jesus christ, they were ****e. Match of the day is better than watching Bohs imo. Remember, if its not entertaining, why watch it? this applies also to most liverpool matches, some utd matches, some irish matches...all depends on the football really.

    inertia and patriotism is probably what makes most people watch matches like the bohs match. not bad for rte, 250,000 is nearly treble what net 2 gets for friends and the like. bohs needed Crowe and Rutherford to perform, but they didn't!!

    Also, it said sky won all 4 PACKAGES, what are these.

    TV3 and RTE will be allowed show a game at 3 o clock on a saturday, like they are allowed in Norway and France etc. because it wont effect match attendances.

    Also, it said sky won all 4 PACKAGES, what are these.

    Package 1 38 games at Sunday at 4pm
    Package 2 38 games Monday night
    package 3 31 games saturday at 1 pm
    package 4 31 games at 6pm saturday

    BBC get the highlight packages

    Thes packages apply to sky uk only as it stande we will not recieve these here in ireland as the irishi rights have not been agree yet.

    There is still 12 packages or so to be announced.

    But in reality, there is no way Sky will not have the Irish rights to the live packages they have bought for the UK.
