Is it more popular NOT to have ink?

A friend of mine made a point the other day as we were walking down to the shop: it seems that it's more uncommon now to not have a tattoo.

I kinda agree, but for a different reason than the one I think she was getting at...

I think there are a lot of people out there (younger people - 18-20 year olds especially) who have rushed into getting a tattoo cause their friends have etc - the usual "I wanna be cool too" thing. I think there are going to be a lot of people heading for laser surgery within the next 10-20 years.

Nearly everyone you meet nowadays has at least one tattoo.

I personally think thats its more socially acceptable now to be inked and this has probably prompted more young people to get tattoos, but I would have to agree that in 10-20 years laser removal clinics will be making a fortune.

BTW what kind of licence do you need to open a laser removeal clinic
    ;););)

Personally i'd have to say it's not that popular not to have a tattoo, if you think about it, know anyone that went on holiday lately? by any chance did they return with a tattoo? I know a hell of a lot of people who have returned with tattoos and it seems to be quite popular now. but still not having a tatoo isn't a big deal and I wouldn't say that it's popular.
but that's just my mindless drivel of an opinion :)

I think its just becoming more socially acceptable. But yeah, removal clinics will be earning big bucks in a few years.
