Thanks to Gombin for the heads up. I've called Eircom and they have confirmed! Just ordered DSL from Netsource (apparently they have 27 orders already!). My line passed yey :D

Could be they havent tested some of the lines yet. At most (so they say)it will take one billing period to get them tested and added to the database.

    Muck,

Haven't heard anything about Barna nor Knocknacarra. Loughrea is definately in the pipeline; I'll check the date out on Monday.

    Regards.

Thanks again for all your help.

An indication of 2003 or 2004 for Loughrea would do fine

The original Eircom plan for RADSL , announced here In January was to do 150 exchanges by end September 2004. 110 by end 2003

Would I be on the right track if I said

    a) It looks more like 180-200 in total.
    b) It looks like a March 2004 completion for that higher amount.

    Regards

    Hi Gombin,

do you have any insight into when Eircom will be upgrading the Newtownmountkennedy exchange ?

    Thanks

    M.

(apparently they have 27 orders already!).

I'm one of them, Netsource posted the "welcome kit" Thusrday 7th and I got it Friday but my line is not active yet, the letter said it will be Thursday 14th (I guess this is when Eircom will activate it).
    Did someone get it already?
