    alright i sat down for a few days with me calculator, log tables and pen and figured this out, i call it Hec's law of quake:

    in any interaction between a student and quake, the rate of study and good exam results is inversely proportional to the rate of quake played.

    this can be expressed in symbols as:

    st=1/2 q...or somthing like that smile.gif

    Nah....it goes something like this!!

    f = 100 * (n*1/n-q)

    where :
    f = final grade
    n = the no. of years in college
    q = the no. of years playing quake

    Jaysus with maths and logic like I've seen on this board its amazing any of ye made it to college in the first place...

    f = (100 * n) ^ (1/q)

    Where q = (#years of quake) + 1

    You'll note that as soon as you touch the game, you cannot achieve a pass mark regardless of the year you are in. Pretty accurate I'd say smile.gif
