Like, where you knew eachother on the board first, and then met after that ? I've met 2 people from a board before... once in dublin and once in london...

I met a few people from this place at a boards drinking session in the White Horse there in June (I think). Ive also ben to a load of parties for a chatroom I chat in too. Which is nice. Both of my housemates are people I knew from the net initially. Also my bf too is someone I knew from online.

think theres a few other posts about this but most of the usual posters know eachother from boards beer's / events / lans / selling products

i know a lot of them very well and then a lot just to see ... theres a website about all this i think somwhere .. somone is bound to have it

I met a couple of the guys on a boards drinking sesh last year (there's still pics floating around /me shakes his fist DAMN YOU THEAD)

but other than that i've never met any of the other lads (or ladies) from baords was ment to go to the paintballing too but i had to go to my godson's christening (i tried convincing them to have the christening at the paintballing but the mother of my godson wouldnt hear of it) :rolleyes:

you can chat to most of the peeps on IRC too there always there!
the next beer bash is probably on soon enough too probably mosey along to that!

I've been to two beers and as a relative newbie didn't meet too many people.

That said, there are a couple of boards people I'd keep in touch with.

Also, from what i saw...if you're female, you'll be welcomed in with open jeans....

I thoroughly enjoyed the last boards beer, mostly because I actually knew almost everyone there, and those I knew I could put name to face easily because of the Know Your Nerds page .

Great craic, loadsa really sound people on boards.ie , and amp is actually quite insane .

I went to a few lans a couple of years ago thats pretty much the only way I know anyone from it. Dont think I'm missing out on much heheh
