Can you unlock a sim card so that an o2 sim card can use Vodafone or Meteor. I was wondering this because of the way when your roaming you can.

You mean like unlock from network? You can do this by ringing up

But if you want to get billed by a new network you can Port onto a new network free of charge by going into a retail store

No it is not currently possible to do this at the moment there is word of it happening with 3G due to the cost of setting up networks and to allow greater coverage in the initial stages of roll out by allowing subsibers roam on competing networks where home netwok coverage is not yet available.
