3Com OfficeConnect 812 ADSL router and Netsource

I signed up for netsource, and my line got activated for DSL yesterday. Since then, I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to connect with it.

The router is able to connect for a few seconds, but then it always disconnects, and starts connecting again. So I'm able to browse the web, etc for around 10 seconds before it screws up.

I was wondering if anyone else is using the 3Com OfficeConnect 812 4-port ADSL router in Ireland, with any provider, because it doesn't seem that popular over here. (I brought it over from Spain).

I suspect the problem is with either A) my DSL router, or B) the possibly crappy phone installation in this apartment complex.
The "Transmit Power" is at around 1 dbm, while it was around 12 when I used it in Spain, what is the normal power for this?
Also, I think the DSL maintains synchronisation all along, if that makes any sense...

Can anyone offer any help and suggestions? I've tried a lot of things and I'm pretty desperate... and I won't be able to contact Netsource tech support till Tuesday!
I'd be REALLY interested in hearing from anyone using the same router as me, and successfully using Netsource.
    Thanks in advance.
