I'll be the first to admit that this a pretty shallow thread condiering that we've lost our lovely Phantom, but what else is there to do but drown our sorrows with shopping thereapy!!

So, we're living in the capital city of a western country; at the very least we should have a decent amount of 'alternative' shops...right???

Nope, I personally think that there's a serious lack of decent clothes out there, not to mention footwear accessories etc...
    What does everyone else think?
Does anyone else spend stupid amounts of money on clothes online?
Where are good places in Dublin to shop??

    :p

New clothes market every Sat in Cows Lane, Temple Bar west

Not cheap, but lots of interesting, young Irish designers.

    Charity shops.

the Eager Beaver in Temple Bar. Damascus used to be good (tshirts & jeans from 50p!) until the Euro came in & it went all bohemian-touristy.

The clothes shop near Xtravision in the Swan Centre sells good t-shirts.

Sé sí in temple bar, although it can be kinda pricey but they hav a new bargain basement which is very nice&good n pocket friendly.
eager beaver does rock as does the oxfam on georges street (many a day its been raining&iv bought myself dry stuff (thats right, *DRY*) for like 35cent)

2nd hand shops are beautiful because.. you can haggle.

There's a shop in the George's St Arcade.. opposite the vintage clothes shop that sells good, cheap clothes. Can't remember the name.

Harlequin is just around the corner too. That's pretty good.
