Sunday Nights - Clubs & Pubs

Where's good on a Sunday night in Dublin?

The last time I went out on a Sunday night was out in Filles. Although I didn't get into Club92 because the bouncer didn't recognise me, that and the fact that I wasn't born into the Golden Circle.

Anyways, looking towards the city centre area, what clubs / late bars are good on a Sunday night?

I was thinking about the following places: Rí-Rá, Turk's Head, Coyote, Redbox/POD or that new club below the Portobello.

    Any suggestions? Cheers! :)

The only club I know of that does anything decent on a Sunday is The Sugar Club on Leeson St. alledgedly. The one time I was there it was a pile of shíte. Fúcking samba night or something, and they were showing 'Snatch' on the big screen for some reason. Weird. So to sum up, I don't really know. :D

Personally I'm a big fan of RiRa, caters for pretty much everything- you want to have a dancy thing, go downstairs, you want to have a discreet discourse with some young lady, go upstairs. I know these places go through cycles, but imo RiRa has been pretty consistent since it opened.

Gets a pretty cool chilled out crowd on a Sunday night, fills out nicely without being overrun.

    Great talent in there too....

I'll second that dod, RiRa is a great place. Had many great personal exploits in there over the last year or two. Nice crowd, decent tunes and the bouncers are great too.

Another Vote for RiRa, but if you are after late pints then Reynards is a good one, free in, usually some ladies to ogle while you get hammered.

Club 92 is great on a Bank Holiday like this one, just make sure you get there early, 10.30 or 11,pm, or you won't get in unless you know the bouncers,

RiRa is on Dame Court, beside Odessa restaurant, Griffith College (I think), Stags head pub and Sams Barbers,

If you're on Dame St there's an alley beside the Mercantile pub that'll take you onto Dame Court,

Has Rí-Rá's changed recently ? Last time I was there (about 3 years ago) it sucked donkey balls. I fooking hated the place.

imo RiRa hasn't changed much in the last 3 years .

I still like the place .. haven't been on a sunday night for a long time mind you...
I generally go on saturday nights. it ain't the red box and it ain't coppers but it scores ( better and more often than I do hee hee )
quite well on music policy, drink prices, atmosphere , talent , lack of trouble

one thing I will say bout RiRa is that the Rockers revenge night and the Scratchin/hip-hop nites ( that are held on friday nights ) should be canned.

anyone else agree , have opinion about this.

whoa neddy I have just gone completely off topic :)
