Predictable enough, though none the less disappointing I suppose. :-(

As doctrinarian attack dogs for Catholicism go, Ratzinger's doing a splendid job </sarcasm> even if his theology is a dubious as Britney's virginal protestations.

I'd personally be more than happy with civil union and equal status in law myself.

As for Bush, well, I wasn't expecting an enlightened, liberal viewpoint. :-)

Canada's looking increasingly civilised isn't it?
