Does anyone now what channels you would be left with if you cancelled your Irish subscription? Would you still be able to get RTE1, N2, TV3 & TG4?

If you follow the instructions that are mentioned in this post the channels that are still viewable are the channels you get when you dont have a sub.

You still need a Sky sub, Family Pack minimum, to view the Irish stations on Sky.

    About 5 Religious TV
    About 25 Shopping Channels

All the radio except Football Channels (55+ channels, inc 12? BBC)

Some days that lot is better that what you get on the ole TV aerial or even the Family pack.

If you really brave you can even point your dish at 19E or 13E and get foriegn TV (I mean more foriegn).

I get about 630 FTA TV and 550 FTA Radio on my PC based Satellite Reciever using a single 90 cm dish and 3 LNBs, for Sky 28.2E, Astra 19E and HotBirds13E. Most of these can be received on a Digibox.

English (or part English, or Pop video) from other Satellites:

    Sailing
    BBC World TV
    DW TV
    NileTV
    Chai
    Arriang
    Europe By Satellite
    Eurosport (German)
    Euronews
    Sky News
    CNN
    CNBC
    BloomBerg
    Daimler Chrysler TV

    Pop:
    MTV (x 2)
    Viva (x 3)
    Countdown
    Magic
    123Sat
    Onyx

Some have SR the Digibox doen't do

    www.lyngsat.com

    If it's "clear"
    Between 40E and 50W
    European Beam
    And SR = 22,000 or SR =27,500

Then the Digibox might tune it via other channels. A bigger 90cm dish is better. Don't move your Digibox minidish unless you don't mind having NO channels...
