Tis a long shot but... I spotted a crowd called "TE Services Ltd." outside my estate this morning on the way to work. They were busy laying down new cables for something or other.

I don't suppose anyone knows if TE Services happen to be one of the contractors involved in deploying appropriate infrastructure for broadband by any chance?

    Yeah I know... long shot:o

However since broadband goes over regular copper i dont see how this would affect you...unless they upgrading the backhaul from the exchange to accomodate broadband traffic. You could mail em and ask but i doubt ud get an answer thats worthwhile. More luck asking the guys laying the cables imo.

I am guessing they are laying some of those much talked about fibre rings around the country.
