here it is.

On August Bank Holiday Weekend....
QuakeFest'99 The Return will be held,last one of the Millenium.

Same as the original but just better, some details are as follows

yes quake 1 and 2 and poss quake 3, tribes , starcraft and others to be arranged

around 30 + machines will be there, dont know if there will be sponsors or not.. but will give details asap.

ok any imput as long as it is intelligent will be listened to...

i was a newbie for qp 1.
i am a muppet for qp 2.
i will be there.
and i will be as drunk at qp2 as i was at qp1.

however......... few questions must be asked.
1) will we be bringin own puters again(i will assume so)
2) we ought to have some sort of agenda planned this time. a 'timetable' of sorts so we can actually get some serious game playin done as opposed to lots of ffa and stuff
3) it will have to be over three days again
4) can devore not shout at everyone this time? please?
5) is there anyway we can get network cards and stuff installed before the weekend to try and speed up 'the proceedings'?
6) did anyone 'score' over in france?
7) 30 puters seems to me to be a bit weedy. we had bout 20 more at least at qp1. why not try and get a better and bigger lan this time. ater all, we( well youse really) got our sh!t together after a day the last time. now we have experience on our side.
8) can we get some decent news coverage for qp2? how about a return match gainst the frenchies, or any touring side... perfect oppertunity to have an 'international' with the landsdown roar(whimper anyway) behind our gallant young fraggers
9) can we bar castor troy from using the railgun?
10) i'll come up with some other suggestions soon.

Nice one Ray, QF 97 was one of the classiest weekends ever. Fookin luvly.

btw WWMan, think ure a bit mixed up here. QF was nuthin to do with QP, it was a mad bar-b-q pi$$up at carns house over a weekend with some mad moshes goin on in a LAN out back in the tent. class.

Carnate thats great news. I wasnt there for the first one and people still talk about it, so you can count me in too (plz!)

QP II is almost a definite (have to meet with the Galecon lads) and I hope to have a few surprises this time. Unlike the French thing I dont intend to do most of it myself (its a much easier event to delegate work areas for)

I'll have more details nearer the summer but for now people should support Ray for this lan, and if theres anything you need Ray, gis a shout.
