I ordered the i-stream self isntall a few days ago, the pack arrived this morning, and i have everything installed. I still haven't received my username and password for the connection as of yet, and from i can gather, 99% of users received their username and password before they received the pack. Has anybody had u/p issues ?

I've had i-stream since May and had the very same problem - i.e got the pack before I got my username & password. Just ring tech support and ask them to look it up for you. They have probably been issued but nobody rang to tell you - which by the way is typical of eircom. Eircom also tried to convince me that I had received my username/password which I most definitely had not, and they were not very forthcoming in re-issuing them - so be prepared, and don't take any crap off them.

    Best of luck,

    Wheeler_1028.

You ordered a couple days ago and your already set up? (well all but username/password).
No wonder everyone else is so slow in getting theirs. What more proof do you need that Eircom are being anti-competitive and that they are doing their customers first.

The same happened to me a few days ago. Pack came first but no username or password. When I rang Eircom I was told quite abruptly that I hadn't received my username/password as my line hadn't been activated yet. Had to tell the poor girl that I wasn't ringing to have my line activated, I was ringing to get my username/password which she rang back with a half hour later.

Just ring the Eircom tech support line and ask for your details which they should have if you have received your pack.

I rang tech support, and they decided to tell me after 10 minutes looking through their user database, that my local exchange wasn't even upgraded as of yet, and won't be done for a few more days. I find it odd that they send out packs, when the exchange isn't even updated, she did say i should get a call as soon as it is done with the full credentials. Let's hope this isn't a drawn out act, as i don't want to spend another 6 or 7 euro ringing a 1550 tech support number, and if they are going to have tech support charged so high, they should at least be able to tell me after a minute that my exchange is not updated, rather than dragging it on..

    Thanks for the replys..
