Soz in advance, I'm a bit of a Noob so this could be in the wrong place but....

I'm a roadie with one of the bigger gig organising companies in UK/Ireland but despite having quite a bit of experience I have no formal qualifications. Asking around the other techies they recommended taking a short theatre lighting course (soz yeha its lights I do not sound) so I was wondering did anyone know any good ones?

In my case I'd prefer an intense fulltime day course to an extended night course but I'd appreciate any leads and especially opinion on the courses on offer

Those courses can be useless. I suggest reading vendor catalogs and volunteering somewhere.

    Vendors:

    Rosco
    Gam
    Lee
    Strand

then look up intelligent ligthing as well

this business best way to learn is to teach yourself or find a techie who doesn't mind explaining things.
