    Back in January, Comreg enthused about 1EV-DO in an interesting Document that pointed the way towards the urban/rural frequency splitting that they now appear to consider (if allowed) when allocating wireless frequencies Nationally.

    It could supply 256k ADSL(ish) connections in Rural areas using frequencies normally associated with 2G GSM phones around 900Mhz daid Comreg , the operators duly (totally) ignored them.

    The Americans have now got it at 10 times that speed and live
