I thaught Darren & Padraig have a great chance of winning, but Darren's had a bad start. Padraig still has a great chance, He likes links golf.

Harrington still has a shot but Bjorn is burning up the course at -8 after 16 holes.

Saw one birdie at lunch time where he chipped in from the bunker. Bet he thought "why couldnt I do that last week".

It's a pity Padraig's missed the cut for the weekend. I thaught he'd have a good chance this week.

Great news though that Paul Mc Ginley has been given an invitation to the USPGA next month. :)

Paddy you plonker! I dunno will an Irishman ever follow O'Leary?

The field seems very mediocre - not one American as far as I can tell plus no really big names from elsewhere like Ernie Els, Vijay Singe, Sergio Garcia etc, dispite the hype its just another European Tour event I guess.

Also RTEs coverage is pretty poor in terms of hours, just 4-6 pm today....

    Mike.

You have to feel sorry for Thomas Bjorn, just missing out two weeks in a row.

Anyway, well done to Michael Campbell. He played the play-off hole brilliantly, a perfect drive & a perfect iron shot.

Had a tenner each way on Peter Lawrie. Got 66/1 on Thursday. He was doing really well up until Sunday, where I presume the pressure got to him....

Its only a matter of time before he does well.
