Has anyone looked at the Bank of Scotland business account? The fees look very good; first 50 cheques lodged per month are lodged free. Has anyone looked at the Bank of Scotland business account?

On the down side, you have to lodge €50,000 to open the account.

Has anyone opened an account with €50,000 (maybe just borrowed it from another bank or whatever), then withdrew most of the lodgement and returned it to wherever it came from.

Maybe they don't like you doing this......

Sure, with a balance of less than €50,000 you don't get any interest, but with most of the business accounts you don't get any interest in any case.
