I am looking to help out an American friend who wants to unlock her sony ericsson t68i from the AT&T network. This would enable her to use her o2 sim card. AT&T told her that they never unlock phones. Could someplease tell me how she could go about it. thanks in advance.

you should find some information (search) on the esato.com forums about this topic, although most will be about AT&Ts pretty strict policy of not unlocking phones, but you should get some other info there...
