Interested in selling your photos?

Heyas,

Without going in to much detail, if you would be interested in selling any of your work which is related to Ireland ie Places, People, Wildlife etc.


Guidelines for sending the photo's.

If you have a negative scanner please do email a scan, for viewing purposes we will accept scans from normal scanners, but eventually we will need the negative to print from.

naturally we cannot accept every image

I cannot give alot more details at this time......you will just have to trust me for now

The pictures are yours and that does not change. Negatives if submitted are returned at the request of the Photographer, all printing is professionally done and great care is taken at all times!

But for the time being jpg's are only required.

Well if you can't be bothered or are unwilling to make a proper request, how can you expect to receive proper responses?

It's a bit like me saying: You can use my photographs; they're really good but I'm not letting you see them - you'll have to trust me for now.

What kind of photo are you looking for, for what purpose?

Also, is it only film? Good digital won't do it?

I completely understand, please contact me via email with your boards user name stated (so that I know who is who ) and I will give as much info as possible.

Over the next month we are collaborating as many photo's from as many different Artists as possible.


Films and Digital, we will not accept digital prints unless the quality is v.good.



We can print from all film types Medium format is most welcome.

Scepticism is at an all time high on the net, understandably so .


And for those who share this opinion, if you are sceptic and think I am out on a quick buck adventure.....you can wait until the project is launched.


You are going to have the opportunity to sell numerous amounts of prints as your photos will be displayed in a Gallery for up to four months, each time you sell a print you take the money Minus Printing expense and Gallery Commision.

it is not going to cost you a Penny for the launch to have your photo's displayed.

Samba, If you expect to succeed in your venture, I think you will have to post a lot more info. Photographers that overlook the small print, usually regret it.

No small print to be read, I am trying to help photographers here, not rip them off .

Everything is going to be spelled out clearly infront of you with no invisible text, I will post back another time and you can inspect every aspect you like.

I have recieved a few positive responses and I can perfectly understand people being very cautious, those will have to wait.

What it boils down to is two photographers setting up a gallery, interested in one thing......photography, our own work will also be on display.

The rights of the work remain with the Artist at all times, but we would ask that while the work is on display, we are the only ones displaying it.(we would prefer not to have the photo if it were on display somewhere else).

I did not expect a huge response from many of the people I do not know, but I did however get a decent response from those that I do.

Time will tell
