    Gnome.

    Evolution is cool, so is abiword and Gnumeric.
    If you want to replace a Windows desktop, the three mentioned applications are great for replacing Exchange, Word and Excel.

    Plus... the look n feel of Gnome, is dead sexy.....

    I'd also like to take this opportunity to point out, that Windows 95 is the one true distro... and all else is sin, the work of Satan and ye shalt burn in hell for not practising the one true faith.

    I personally prefare Gnome but KDE is much easier to introduce to the mob that is used to MS...
    For that reason I voted for KDE

    KDE because Gnome has a sort of foot for a logo and I can't be looking at that all the time.

    I used to be a KDE fan, but I prefer the current version of Gnome now.

    Not sure why it just seems cleaner.
    KDE does come with a better range of apps though.

    ICEVM, not resource intensive. Handy for my PII333 laptop with 64mb RAM!

    Gnome, seems a bit smoother but then that could be cause I'm using Redhat 9.0 and they've apparent done some pretty weird things in customisation that affect the default applications under KDE making Gnome the better desktop.

    KDE is great functionally, but it is very cluttered. All the buttons are really close together.

    Gnome is a lot more pleasant to work in. Although you have to go to a lot more trouble to install apps, and associate mime types with applications etc.

    I prefer comfort than pure functionality so I voted for Gnome.

    KDE for impressing clients and shattering their preconceptions.
    Windowmaker in the office, although the soundserver can be difficult.
