Memory Cards

brand difference. it's like buying a generic playstation controler, or buying a sony playstation controler. Sony charge a hell of a lot more for the "official" controler. Also if you can look up reviews on both memory cards, the nokia card could be better quality/speed/lifespan compared to the other one, but i doubt it. I'd buy the cheaper one, purely because there's a £71 difference.

The average southpark episode i have ranges from 35megs to 45 megs, depends on quality.

basically one has a sticker with Nokia on it so they charge you more and they would have tested it works 100% in their devices

some people have had trouble with some brands of MMC card in their Nokia devices - but some work perfectly well and are much cheaper than a Nokia branded card - so best thing to do is check out some of the 3650 forums find out which non branded Nokia ones work ok (and if you can go for a 128MB card)

there are details and links to 3650 forums in this thread

size of video files - that's a bit of a how long is a piece of string - it depends on the type of video file and quality settings used - as a rough guide you should can usually get an (low/acceptable quality) 23 minute episode into about 15MB in MPEG4 format - better quality would need a bigger file...

Brilliant, thanks guys. Very helpful indeed, and great link brian. Now i've just gotta decide what size to go for 128mb or 64mb. Suppose i've just gotta make that decision myself. Thanks again.
