TV5 problems on NTL Digital

    Does any one know what's up with TV5 on ch #121 ?

    The picture is completly mangled up with QVC trying to come in on it somehow. :confused: If you select to view it, it automatically turns off the sound on all of the other channels & can also stop you from changing channels & it freezes the box up.

    Has anyone noticed this ??

    It happened to me last night too. I tried resetting the box a few times but gave up in the end. I left it powered off all night and just tried it now and its back working again.

    Not sure if it is related to TV5 though. Although I am sure I did try to watch it last night.

    It seems to be working properly this morning alright :) , but it wasn't working properly on friday & saturday (not sure about before)

    No need to rant on about TV5 when there are viewer/subscribers of ntl go-digital complaining.......moaning and all that.
    I thought everything and especially TV5 was perfect on ntl digital because ntl told and keep on telling me so. So merci bien.

    There are very many former TV5 viewers (who are NOT prepared to support this rotten digital service provided by bankrupt ntl) who are pleased to hear and read in the press viewers' dissatisfaction with this overpriced package. All the more reason for the demand for the return of the normal basic (cheapest) package to include Eurosport, National Geographic and TV5.

    In Bruxelles the cheapest package on cable tv and radio is 123 euro per year (10 euro per month) for 39 (thirty-nine) channels including BBC channels Eurosport(French and English) and TV5.
    Dubliners pay 18 euro per month for 14 (fourteen) channels.

    * ntl word for those (the vast majority of customers) who are not interested in anything other than the absolute basic minimum (cheapest ntl style) cable package.

    Is it your sole purpose to complain in this forum. :mad:

    I didn't start this thread to moan about the quality of TV5's programming or if TV5 should be or the package or the pricing and content of the package. (i've heard it all before from you)
    I was only reporting a fault with NTL digital that freezed up the box. Thankfully it has since been repaired. :)
