    Anyone see Lance Armstrong's amazing cross-field ride in the Tour yesterday (Monday)? Having the reaction speed and quick wits to take a road bike off-road once the rider ahead went down and blocked his line was pretty impressive, as was his ride across the field.

    Just goes to show cyclo-cross and mountain biking in the off season does have its place for the professional cyclist...

    I was sort of hoping he'd ride the drop-off at the end of the field - now that would have been hardcore :)

    (Sort of thought "Extreme Sports" would be the place for this rather than just "Sports"...)
