Another annoying 'Do you remember'

When I was a kid, I saw a movie I only vaguely remember.
It featured a hero of sorts, who lived in a giant eagle statue, somewhere up high in USA. He was up against some voodoo crowd, who's weapon was the spirit of snakes. You could see these glowing outlines of snakes attacking people in their sleep!

Any ideas? Might be a movie, might be an old tv series. Dunno. Help?

was it animated.or live action.think i rememer an animated film like that.

Live action. It was on RTE fuppin years ago. About 1980 I'd Say :eek: I think he might have been part of a group. Possibly even a super hero.

It's always stuck in my mind from time to time over the years.....
