the following sites have great high quality photos that are free for commercial use without credit:
http://www.sxc.hu - an amazing site with a huge selection (terms and conditions depend on photo)
http://www.morguefile.com - small selection but still free
http://www.istockphoto.com - a huge selection - one free photo and 50 US cent after that so it won't bankrupt you
hope this helps - it would have saved me a few hours googling a few weeks ago when i needed quality pics in a hurry
