were hoping to have them where I work soon.

Just received the forms from apple and will be an authorised seller soon.

77 Aungier St, Back From The Future. Not sure on the timescale for the IPod though

Just to let you know that I got one of two 30g models that the Apple store in Stephens green got in approx 6 weeks ago and it did not work for me. No computer I tried it on would register it. So therefore it was not possible to transfer music to it

Compustore (or their Apple store) have not been able to get a replacement meanwhile they have an interest free loan from me of €600. I have been extremely disappointed with Compustores attitude to getting me a replacement - several times they have told me that they expected them 'on Friday' but then I discovered that they dont even ring Apple on a weekly basis to find out whats being delivered to them - its all a great big surprise when the big brown boxes arrive!!!! Some service heh!

While the Ipod is wonderful in its way - I have a 20g model - it seems to me from reading around that there are definite quality issues with the new models and that Apple released them prematurely.

Have a look at some of the posts on Apple's site and bear in mind that Apple do not allow critical posts! I put up a post asking was it too much to expect a so called prestige product to work out of the box and it was removed and I got an email from Apple telling me that they dont allow criticla posts! Now if Microsoft was doing that.

I should also mention that I found Apple's support line and the Apple shop monunentally ineffective - this was not in connection with the ipod. So there!!!

If buying expensive stuff like this - try and use a credit card - if there are problems you can incstruct your cc company to withold payment - that generally gets the companies attention !
