    70.71m²?

If you take the length and width to be 100 and 50.

    Sqrt(100x50)

I dunno though, it's summertime and my maths skills are awfully rusty.

It's between 3200 and 5000 m^2. Area is calculated by length by width.

Yeah that's what I was thinking but then it seemed too big.
    Overthinking is a bad thing.

OK well your average monitor has a dot pitch of 0.28mm

    The image is 392x191 pixels

So multiplying this by the dot pitch = 109.76mm x 53.48mm

    This is equal to 0.10976m x 0.05348m

Which is equal to 0.0058699648 square metres

    :D

If it was 100x 50 would it not be 5000 Sq metres.
I was crap in maths but if you imagine a grid (or make one in Excel) then the amount of complete squares is the correct answer.

    Equations me arse :)

Yeah it is 5000 metres squared.
I dont even know why I did what I did originally, but I'll leave it there so everyone can see how stupid I was. :)

I think you got 50 x 100 = 5000 and then got square root of it 70.7 to then represent it as 5000 = 70.7(squared)

    It's like saying 2 x 8 = 4(squared) when you could just say 16.

Yup that's exactly what I did. Purely because I overthought it. 5000 seemed too simple.
