I've nearly finished building my darkroom and looking for an enlarger like the De Vere 203 with a multigrade head, if anyone sees a used one for sale, please post.

I wasn't familiar with this enlarger, so I had a look around the web for it. I came across a used one for sale at Dale Photographic. It seems kinda pricey for what it is, though.

I don't know whether you want to actually do colour prints, or just have the convenience of the dial-in contrast grades, but if it's the latter, have you checked out the Beseler Printmaker 67? I know those are US prices but, even at that, it's a new enlarger for less than the cost of the used one at Dales. Of course, I don't know how competitive Dales are either.

Anyway, there it is for what it's worth.

    Norma.

I forgot to mention a multigrade head in my post.

But I've just been offered a 504 with a load of extras and just working on the finer points of the deal.

    Thanks for posting anyway.
