    Eircom have a few at different hotels around town, a list is on the business section of their site, also there is one at the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin castle. http://www.enn.ie/news.html?code=9234212

    You could take a look here: http://www.dublinwan.org/map.php . A good few of the nodes there will provide broadband access to the net.

    O2 put a map together of their wireless zones available in hotels at the moment, and here is some info on the service.

    the eaasiest way to do it is to install NetStumbler on your laptop. when you come into the range of a network, it will be picked up. Wireless hotspots with net access usually have very obvious names, e.g. "O2 Wireless Hotspot"

    you can get ministumbler for windows pda's, or the much better kismet for linux pda's/laptops. Kismet will pick up cloaked ap's, crack wep on the fly and is completely passive so it doesnt associate with AP's.

    There's good stumblers for bsd's as well, and even for Mac OS X (yes I know it's a bsd).
