how much data in a month are u usually downloading?

i'm downloading 6gigs per month i usually download 5 gigs in first 3-5 days and use 1gb for browsing till the end of the month

the reason i posted this topic is

if i register with netsource(for example), and start downloading like crazy from the first day will they disconnect me?

how much data did you download the first month u installed broadband(which?)?

netsources cap is UNLIMITED no matter how much u download ie basicly you could d/l the interwebby and still be ok

esat utv and eircon have a cap go over 5 gig (or 4 for eircon) and your charged 30 euro per gig extra

So that works out about €90pm for DSL line rental and €80pm for a new hard drive. Are you saving 60GB of stuff?

Personally I download 6GB per month from easynews. Waste of money really... but....

Download well over 40 gigs a month, up about 5 or so
first month I downed nearly 80. had to get a new harddrive dedicated to downloads

Streaming movies & music, game demos, roms etc etc. My 360 gig pc at home is full. I'm probably crazy enough to have a terabyte pc by xmas

I'm doing about 10 gigs. That's 5 hours a night of gaming, surfing and file-sharing. All good.

ISO's (all legal of course), backup emulator roms, some file sharing.

If one was downloading all the time constantly with a 1 m/bit connection for a month, I think you could roughly download 250 gigs. 60 last month was unusually high I must admit. July will probably be 40 gigs ish.
