Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It was the Hammer throwers that put them on the map, shame on them.

Leo is correct that the HT world record put Cork on the map. I met a French hammer thrower who when finding out I was Irish, exclaimed "Irlande, Cork! World capital of hammer throw!"

Cork is know world-wide for that night. The shame is that the best in the world would travel to throw at that venue. It could still be a great throws meeting and world accliamed at that if only there was an ounce of business acumen and promotion in the BLE/AAI.
