RUSSIAN CHAMPIONS!!!

Can you believe it??? We can't!!! ROGUE are the Russian Quake Clan Leagueski CHAMPIONS!!!

After probably the hardest game I've ever played, we beat (former) Russian number one clan WD (Wodka Drinkers) by 14 frags - final score 98 -v- 84!!!

HA-HA was top scorer followed closely by adra, then bubbles, me and wwman. Both teams decided on a 5 -v- 5 for this time - being the finals and all. WD were out in force with The Smirnoff Brothers - Black and Blue their top scorers followed by Absolut, Huzzar and Stolychnia. Expect a full report soon enough when we get the clan site up and running http://clans.quake.ie/rogue

Already our crown has been challenged by ninja new-commers "The Breadline", who've been causing quite a stir on all Asian servers. We'll keep you posted on what's happening!!!

ahhh MP,
we would love to play the home teams. since it was ppl like you who nurtured us and taught us and made us the team we are today. clan rogue would officially like to thank all of those who made us what we are today.

however, in the afterglow of victory, im afraid the sweet smell of success has turned a little putrid. the reason? under contract we are obliged to tour europe asia and the middle east as new champions of the RCQL. it will be a long time before we can return home to the loving fold from where we came.

i would like it noted that bubbles, adra, kharn, myself and our newest recruit haha (or lol as he likes to be known on his recent q2 expeditions) sincerely thank all of the people in the irish quake scene and really really regret the fact that clan rogue cannot compete against the french team on feb 28th. the mail from you all has been delightful and its been a thrill to read your fan mail, but clan rogue will be in bermuda during the french-irish match. we do however wish our understudies well and are sure that if they use our tactics they will win
what are our tactics? easy, kill those muther fukkas, dont get killed. easy huh?

Well, we finally did it. It was a hard few weeks, but Clan Rogue finally took the Russian title.

I would like to thank the following people:

But seriously.... I would like to thank all the members of Rogue for their time and skill in our last few games. We stuck together, and that in the end of the day is what pulled us through.

We would love to start playing some Irish Clans soon, but with leagues starting up in China, Korea, Napal, Greenland, Cuba and Zenya we are very straped for time.


thanx for the offer of a clan game Mindphuck, I'm sure Rogue would like to play INC in a once off game on the 31st of this month or 1st Febuary. It would be nice to play a clan match with a ping under 500 for a change. I'll talk to you on IRC about it.

I was just reading over the rules of Asian combat...
It seems that mere mortals must obey the following:

1) Thou shalt not use a proxy - for it is not nice to talk without words

2) (s)He who shall discharge shall fry while using the toaster the very next morning

3) He who telefrags a GOD (a rough translation - can mean RQCL Champion) shall be doomed to having piano's falling on his / her head

4) (s)He who is LPB and shafts shall be struck by lightning the very next day

5) A break away clan shall arise from a green 3 leaved plant shall reign supreme worldwide for ever and shall be recorded in the annals of Quake

Interesting, huh?
Have another look at number 5 there - maybe there's a cryptic meaning...

We're playing Inc, but then we're totally cup and league tied between the leagues in Greenland and Mongolia and Cup in Russia

Here on that note Bunner, Clan 9's Doomer mailed me yesterday and wants a transfer to INC just so he can get a game against the most feared clan on the western board!

Very understandable MP, Us, the russian Champs will take anyone on, but as I said above, we are very straped for time, so we can play one game a month which isn't apart of a league. This Monday we have or first match in the Zenya Quake league, and on Thursday our first in the Cuba leage. The Cuba one, like the russian should be a walkover. The Zenya one will be alot more difficult.

You all may be asking why we never give the url's for these leagues homepages. If we did, CW would enter and ruin it for Rogue.
