I heard recently that there is a fee charged if you require the fire brigade?

Is this true? Does this apply if it's a genuine emergency such as your house burning down, or if the fire brigade is needed at a car accident?

its at their discretion to a degree

if the house burns down then no

if your chimney caught fire coz it was manky then yes

    Depends on each county too.

One thing they always charge businesses.

Your insurance company will cover it. Like an admission to A&E, they will take care of you first, bill you later (if they remember).

Accidents and traumas will get a much better hearing than negligence and arson.

MazyMo, are you like comparison shopping for an emergency service??

You may be interested in perhaps the most expensive piece of accident insurance...buying a Mayback. Fitted with T-Mobile's Teleaid emergency service.
