I've never heard anything bad about music123.com However, bear in mind that if it's coming from america, chances are you're amp head will be set for 110v and not 220v so don't forget you'll have to change the transformer and that'll void any warranty immediately!! Also you may be stung for import duty.

If you search the Instruments board you'll find several thread about this topic... bear in mind, they don't ship all the brands to Europe (e.g. no Fender/Gibson) and you're liable for 21% VAT + custom duties. This won't be on your bill but you'll get an invoice after receiving the shipment.

Despite this, your money is safe. Also, try www.thomann.de

I recently ordered something from thomann. Its been a week now.How long do they normally take?

It takes 5 working days unless what you ordered is out of stock, in that case it might take up to two weeks. However, send an email to Ivan@thomann.de CC info@thomann.de and they'll let you know.

You should have got an order confirmation by email with a number in brackets, quote this # in the email. They'll get back to you in 24hrs

I got a lovely ESP EX351 from music123 about a year ago, didn't get charged
customs (but thats a matter of luck, if I ordered the same thing again I may end up
paying customs), the whole thing only cost me EUR400 and over here it retails for
about EUR1150!! I was very pleased, it arrived in less then 2 weeks and I was able
to track thack the order online too for peace of mind.

I would definetly reccomend them but bear in mind that if you do end up paying
customs you can add about 20% onto the price plus about EUR50 commision to the
delivery company for sorting out the customs (ended up going through this when
I imported an MP3 player for my car from Hungery - added 150 to a 250 bill!!). If
it still works out cheaper even after adding the customs, then go for it, and you have
a 50/50 chance of not having to pay the customs.
