Girls-Boys + Fast Cars

A few weekends ago I went with a few girlfriends to this Drag strip to watch cars/trucks race each other. I thought it rather boring but my girlfriends were all into it. Riding really fast in a car is scary to me mayhaps that is why I didn't enjoy it. I was just wondering all male and female perspectives on this....I know for most males it is an adreline rush but for girls...what is the big turn on about going fast?

Did your girlfriends strip down to have bikinis underneath and start dancing eroticly in their seats ? If so, you may have inadvertantly found your way to a porn shoot.

yeah make sure you give max power or fastcaruk a ring so they can come and take lots of pics so spotty kids with opel corsas can drool over them

I wonder if there's like a girl-boy-boy-girl-exhaust shagging on car fetish ? I mean you've got locosexuals. You must be able to get polo-sexuals, or corsa-sexuals or civic-sexuals. Something worth thinking about alright.

nah you're getting confused.. polosexuals are more related to minty confectionary than cars... quite a sick practice, but midly refreshing at the same time.

still i dont think exhaust ****ing is reccomended.. especially if a big burst of smoke comes out just as you reach "that moment"..

See thats why you need to nudge them and go "hey you can be a model you know" and get them to take thier clothes off.. and if your really lucky some exhaust action

You don't know till you try. They'll either laugh, start stripping or kick you in the balls... wear a cup and its worth the risk :)

This has changed to mindless spam so quickly
Im not much into fast cars, but I usually go and watch my uncle when he's going racing on his bike..and they pick up some fairly high speeds.. very enjoyable imho, but very dangerous too. Just the other weekend,he was knocked off his bike, and spent a good while in hospital...

didnt stop him doing it again though!

Kali...Hun I can't be kicked in the balls as I am a girl and have none. LOL

Ouch Tellox...that was exactaly my point. I don't see the drive dor a sport like that when there is so little care for your own life. One wrong thing and you could be dead...It's super scary..?

Some people get huge adrenaline rushes from such this, maybe thats why they do it. i think its pretty cool myself, i like done up cars not dragsters etc. but its not so nice if you see someone getting killed.

i ca just quote from the eternal words of good charlote "girls don't like boys girls like cars and money"

whats the point of doin' up a car to get attention, but then driving so fast noone can even see it?

Oh there were guys doing 118mph on motorcycles doing a wheelie 1/2 down the track. Every time they would get on one wheel I would cringe.
I work in a hospital and they have never seen a mutilated body like I have and I could just see those guys being ripped apart by concrete...Geeze...their crazy..

I was taught to drive by Rosemary Smith hehe! She held the Irish Landspeed record back in the 60s I think! A fantastic woman who I've met many times she really inspires me as she was involved in motor sport in a time when it was even more male dominated than it is today!

I personally like the speed not into drag racing too much, I love power boats also, but motor cycle racing is my favourite was big into F1 a few years back but that lost its appeal a bit and I haven't watched a grand prix in a long time.

yeah F1 lost it after Mika Hakinen left, but it was sliding anyway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,330 ✭✭✭✭Amz

Yeah definitely lost some of the appeal when Hakkinnen left.

    I have to ask, why?

they never really appealled to me, once I'd qualified to drive them I'd had my appetite for speed boats well and truly sated.

The ultimate 'on the water' thrill has to be windsurfing IMO, but I digress from the topic at hand... :)

Well I just mentioned power boats as it seemed relevant to the thread i.e. somehow connected to motorsports

I have a sailboard which I keep in my gran's shed I don't get to use it much but windsurfing is a sport I do love! I'm not great at it due to lack of practice, only get out on the water with it once or twice a year.

I generally have no one to "play" with and rely and lifts to get to locations where I can surf which makes it awkward.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 491 ✭✭Silent Bob

Getting my car licence and persuading my parents to get cars with roof bars aided me immensely in my windsurfing quest, relying on other people for lifts is a drag.

And... eh... fast cars are, umm... cool (/me tries to stay on topic:))
