Cathal Goan gets RTE top job

    Cathal Goan has been appointed Director General of Radio Telefis Eireann tonight. He is currently Director of Television and was previously Ceanassai of TnaG.

    Oh dear...a Norn Iron "gaelgorai", stand by for lots of tedious documentary series about the troubles from the perpective
    of an oppresed Irish language speaker! ;)

    I have to say it would be better if Cathal Goan had remained on as Head Of TV Programmes. He did a great job with TnaG when it started out first. I think he just has not given himself enought time to get into the politics of RTE. So who gets head of tv?????
