My favourite was also the old style Beetle but I think the new one gets my vote. You could put Porsche 911 engines into the old style Beetles btw.

I agree with both Mossy Monk's post about the McLaren F1 and Sposs's post about BMW being best - the McLaren F1 came with the BMW S70/2 V12 engine

RA rear ended a metro on the A6 in England causing a lot of damage to the front of the car but if you had a car worth UK£650K ten years ago I think you would try and get it repaired (which is what RA did) rather than give it to a scrappie .
