Setanta has been around for ages.

They broadcast PPV GAA matches mostly.

UK pubs take out a sub to the channel to get Irish ex-patriates and other people interested in the gaa in drinking of a Sunday afternoon. This was the reason GAA matches weren't broadcast on RTE for a while (actually it's nothing at all to do with it but it took some melonheads at RTE a long time to figure that out. Pffft)
