Hiring sports cars in Ireland

    I'm looking into hiring a sports car for a friend for her birthday - anyone have any idea of what companies in Ireland currently hire cars along the lines of Porsche Boxsters or the like? Or what the rates are?

    For the rates my guess is "expensive because of the insurance!"...

    In fact the price is on their web site:

    Porsche Boxster day €370 week-en €875 week €1475

    And

    Drivers must be 25 years of age and over, with a full unendorsed license for the last 3 years.
    Insurance excess amounts to be changed to €1,500.00 and €2,500.00 Subject to VAT @ 13.5%
    All prices are subject to v.a.t. at 13.5%
