just looking for a bit of guidance..... roughly how much are are the CD adaptor things for cars which you hook your discman up to? And could I fit it myself without too much difficulty?

If you have a radio cassette in the car and want to use a personal cd player all you need is the car kit accessory for in car personal use .
There is not need for any installation, just plugs into the cigarette lighter and stick the tape that comes with it into your In car radio cassette.
DIY job. time=10 sec.
