yep, it is quite the cool model. rules wise, its pretty much a dreadnought with crap weapon skill, a battle cannon, and other guns. as a part time Chaos player, I too can't wait to own one ot these monsters, but considering it's size, it's gonna be very difficult to keep it alive past turn 1.

You should see the land raiders, even with their 14/14/14 armour they NEVER survive past turn one, and commonly kill a few of the people inside.

ALtho a battle cannon for chaos would help alot, them cannons HURT, big time. (*bang* squad one down, *bang* squad two down, *bang* command squad down, etc)

The problem with big tanks is that everone targets them early on rather then face them in a round of shooting, at least they take fire away from the rest of your army.

Is it just me or are chaos space marines getting a little too much attention from GW? I mean they get the coolest looking models, everything designed for them comes out after about 2 months of making rules.

It might be simply because of the Eye of Terror campaign that they're focusing so much on Chaos.

Then again, maybe they've lost the plot completely?

Wave Serpents have been available for years...

As for the other 2 - get up off your ass and convert them! Between the Eldar, Dark Eldar, High Elves, Wood Elves and of course Dark Elves (maybe even Sea Elves if you're Old Skool enough), there's more than enough material to model either of the 2 characters you mentioned.

Chaos stuff has the greatest potential to let a septic mind come up with some of thw whackiest conversions and paint jobs, so it should get tons of stuff. The designers and artists can go nuts!

Whoever you are playing I-am-dogboy i wish i could too all anyone ever does to me is shoot them down and move on to my talos with their bright lances or las-cannons. My friend has a necron death bringer painted pink and renamed the love bringer no joke he brought it in on valentines week and played in the liffy street store with it. Tee Hee love bringer. Does anyone know what to do about the whole talos N/A leadership thing and mind war i think its just crule.:(

to the guy who says land raiders dont live, i went tto icon, came second in 40k and had a land raider. it died once... on the last turn.:D
