Updating Bios?

    Is it reccomended to update your mobo Bios ?
    Ive just got a new system from elara and am wondering if i should do so,or would elara technicians have done so?[doubtful?]
    Its an intel mobo
    D865PERL mPGA478 i865PE ATX Max 4GB AGP8x 800mhz FSB

    Well if things are running smoothly and it is picking up your ram & processor ok then i dont really see any point. Normally update your bios if you are having problems or if there are new facilities you might be able to use.

    As COL_LOKI said, if you dont need to do .. then dont ... but keep an eye on the manufacturers site for updates, there may be a performance boost down the road...
