Help... Not sure if this should go here
But its as best a place as i could find for it

I've been growing my hair for 2 years now and its time for a change. I was going to get my friend to give me dreads but she fecked off to canada two months ago and i don't know when she gets back.

I need to know where is a good place to get dreads or if any of you out there are willing ;).
Your experiences on the matter would be greatly appriceated
Esp. what to avoid and what to go for?
    Different types of dreads etc??

any advice would be blessed :):ninja:

http://www.knottyboy.com is a good site for tutorials, facts and products.

I've had my dreads 3 days now :D

"African Market" style newsagents frequently have hair salons in the back that do dreads amongst other styles

there was a girl in my class in secondary school, and she tried to make her own dreads...
she put mayo and egg in her hair, never washed it and used to twist it all the time, I think she also put paper clips in it.
anyway it looked mank, and smelled even worse.

there is an African Hairdresser half way down moore street, a mate of mine got his done there, they were really good but not too cheap. on the other hand it was a danm sight cheaper than the outragous prices he was quoted at irish establishments.
